Putting up your SofTop® Canopy is simple. Thanks to our patent-pending “Strong Arm” corner bracket, installation and tensioning are straightforward. All you need is a wrench. Year-Round Durability
Whether installed in soil, concrete, or above ground, each setup requires small adjustments for a secure fit. For the larger 18′ x 20′ model, a building permit may sometimes be required; we provide free unstamped engineering plan copies, and sealed stamped versions are available for a fee. The smaller 12′ x 12′ model usually falls below permit requirements.
Each SofTop® Canopy is engineered to withstand winds of up to 90 mph. The frame is built to last through all seasons, though we recommend removing the canopy during extreme weather—such as heavy windstorms or significant snowfall (25–30 psf or more). The design makes removal and reinstallation quick and hassle-free.
