Absolute Steel offers one of the strongest warranties in the industry. Our frame systems carry a 20-year warranty, and depending on the exterior panels you choose, coverage ranges from 20 to 40 years against fading, chalking, or peeling.
Shipping, Returns & Refunds
Delivery
We ship steel building packages, panels, doors, insulation, and some carport models in multiple shipments via LTL carriers or flatbed trucks. Provide a deliverable address at the time of order. We’re not responsible for delivery restrictions due to road conditions, low clearances, HOA rules, or remote locations.
We coordinate shipments whenever possible but cannot guarantee simultaneous arrival. Tracking details are provided once carriers pick up your order, and they’ll call ahead to schedule delivery. We are not liable for costs related to forklift rentals, idle labor, or lost work time due to delivery delays. Always wait for all materials to arrive before scheduling work. If delivery fails, you’re responsible for rescheduling or storage fees. You may also choose to pick up your order at the carrier’s nearest freight terminal to avoid extra charges.
Accepting Delivery
Inspect your shipment immediately. If damage is visible or suspected, mark the Bill of Lading or Delivery Receipt as “DAMAGED” or “SUBJECT TO CONCEALED DAMAGE.” Before refusing a shipment, call us at 877-833-3237 ext. 103 for instructions.
We cannot replace damaged parts at no charge unless the damage is noted on delivery documents. We may request photos or other documentation before processing claims. Missing or defective parts will be replaced promptly and free of charge within 30 days of delivery. Overnight shipping is available at extra cost. Shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of delivery. Damage from improper storage beyond 30 days is not covered.
International Shipping
We’re experienced in handling international deliveries and will work out logistics with you as part of your purchase agreement.
Order Changes & Returns
Order Cancellations
Cancel within 24 hours for a full refund minus credit card fees. After 24 hours, unshipped orders incur a 25% cancellation/restocking fee. If shipped but undelivered, cancellation incurs a 50% fee plus return shipping. No refunds once delivery has been attempted.
Return Policy
We accept returns within 20 days if items are unused and securely packaged. Customers pay restocking fees and return freight. Installed products cannot be returned.
Warehousing
Orders must be accepted within 30 days of manufacturing or deposits/payments will be forfeited. We do not store merchandise beyond 30 days.
Taxes & Engineering
Sales Tax
Please consult your sales representative for applicable sales tax and/or exemptions.
Engineering & Permits
Buyers are responsible for determining if engineering or building permits are required and for obtaining any necessary approvals. We cannot guarantee inspection approval if your foundation does not match our specifications. Any required third-party testing or inspections must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
